Bio
My formal mentoring experience is with Year Up. Informally, in my professional role mentoring is a natural part of my work. Environmental compliance and sustainability was historically done by subject matter experts (SME's). In order to weave this knowledge and implement into the DNA of an organization, mentoring is a constant part of the informal role.
Prior Experience
Participated in Year Up when I lived in Atlanta.
Year Up's mission is to close the Opportunity Divide by providing urban young adults with the skills, experience, and support that will empower them to reach their potential through professional careers and higher education.
Why Mentor?
I believe mentoring is an essential tool for younger students. It provides a safe space to talk about school, professional goals.
